Dear Colleagues
I am interested in putting together a panel for next year’s 2012 AHA Conference focusing on prisoners of war and warfare. My paper will center on the imprisonment of the Convention Army from 1777-1783 and explains how the confinement of the army increased the Continental Congresses’ authority in POW policy during the American Revolution. I have already secured a chair and commentator for the panel. Anyone with interest in presenting a paper focusing on the confinement of prisoners of war and government authority in warfare please contact me at sch168@msstate.edu.
