The Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) at Northwestern University is accepting paper abstracts and registration for its 15th Annual Research Conference, “Radical Ecology: Black Technologies of Innovation and Intervention,” April 8-9, 2011
Successful submissions will reflect issues ranging from social justice to environmental law to identity performance to biochemical discoveries. They will illustrate cutting edge research and practices that illuminate areas of overlap between our respective disciplines.
Radical Ecology is a space to highlight the scholarly pursuits of students of color representing the humanities, natural and social sciences. Scholars of all disciplines are encouraged to apply, especially (but not limited to) visual, textual and performance artists.
This year’s keynote speaker is Imani Perry (Princeton University).
