Bowtied and Fried: The Official Blog of the Southern Roundtable is a forum on southern culture, history, literature and identity established and maintained by graduate students at the University of Georgia. The blog, which features a sprawling array of topical issues spans the gamut from Outlaw Songwriters and Confederate Bushwhackers to Hunting Dog Culture and Southern Barbecue. In addition to weekly blogging by core graduate members of The Southern Roundtable, Bowtied and Fried will (and does) invite honorable guest bloggers to write and share their work in a somewhat casual, yet still seriously academic e-setting.
