Dear colleagues,
The Macedonian Historical Review is calling for papers to be published in the second issue of the Journal, due to appear this autumn.
This peer-reviewed journal is published yearly on paper, as well as on-line in html and pdf formats, under the auspices of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Sts. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, Macedonia.
Research articles are invited on all aspects of the history of Macedonia and the Balkans from antiquity to our times, including studies of classical and modern scholarship of the various topics covered by the field of study mentioned above.
Electronic communication is preferred. Macedonian Historical Review encourages submission by e-mail attachment, ftp transfer, or on CD/diskette.
Authors are encouraged to submit papers in congress languages in the widest sense (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian).
Concerning referencing style, the MHR editorial board considers this a matter of personal preference and leaves the decision at the discretion of the authors. Thus, authors can freely follow the Harvard, Chicago or APA referencing style.
Offered articles are due until June 30th, 2011; we expect the second issue of the Journal to be published by September, 2011.
We offer our most sincere gratitude to all colleagues that participated in our inaugural issue, as well as for the words of encouragement and praise that we received from many others. We will once more be happy to receive your contributions, hoping to establish long and frugal scholar cooperation.
Sincerely,
The Macedonian Historical Review editorial board
