My panel on "African American Working-Class Activism: Labor, Politics, and the Civil Rights Movement, 1930-1975" is in need of a non-historian for our application to be part of the program of the 2012 annual meeting of the American Historical Association (AHA), which will be held in Chicago January 5-8, 2012. Non-historians WILL NOT be required to join the AHA in order to present, but WILL be required to pay the conference fee. If you have a paper or presentation (or will have one ready by Thanksgiving) which could fit into our topic, please respond by Friday, February 4, 2011.
Submission should include:
* Paper or presentation title
* Abstract or description (up to 300 words)
* Biographical paragraph or c.v. summary (up to 250 words)
* Correct mailing and e-mail address
