My panel on "African American Working-Class Activism: Labor, Politics, and the Civil Rights Movement, 1930-1975" is in need of a non-historian for our application to be part of the program of the 2012 annual meeting of the American Historical Association (AHA), which will be held in Chicago January 5-8, 2012. Non-historians WILL NOT be required to join the AHA in order to present, but WILL be required to pay the conference fee. More information about the conference can be found at http://www.historians.org/annual/proposals.htm .
If you have a paper or presentation (or will have one ready by Thanksgiving) which could fit into our topic, please respond by Friday, February 4, 2011.
Submission should include:
* Paper or presentation title
* Abstract or description (up to 300 words)
* Biographical paragraph or c.v. summary (up to 250 words)
* Correct mailing and e-mail address
