Students analyze primary and secondary sources, hone their research skills, and show their findings through multimedia documentaries, dramatic performances, imaginative exhibits, historical papers, and the newest category, websites. Students present their findings on a day of competition for a group of volunteer judges - Winners move on to the state and possibly national competition. This year's competition is Sunday, March 6th.
Each year, judges from cultural and research institutions, universities and city government volunteer. They evaluate student work through the student interview process and provide constructive feedback.
