I propose a panel for the 2012 AHA Conference, dealing with immigrant communities within their host countries. More specifically, I would like to address the lives of those religious refugees in 16th-century England, and the reaction of the English to these foreigners. The theme(s) of this panel would be the networking done within such immigrant communities, as well as the networking done between aliens and their English hosts. The panel could included any similar topic across Europe, Asia, and the New World.
