OAH 2012 Panel:
A Capital Notion: The Politics of Economic Development in the Nineteenth-Century United States
I am looking for scholars of the nineteenth-century to participate in a panel exploring how visions of economic development propagated by various economic interest groups (merchants, artisans, financiers, etc.) influenced American political development. If you are interested in presenting or are available to comment on such a panel please email me soon. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 1, 2011.
