Call for Habsburg and Austrian panels: GSA 2011 and AHA 2012
Do you have an idea for a panel proposal for the next German Studies Association meeting in Louisville, Kentucky (September 22-25, 2011) or the American Historical Association meeting in Chicago (January 5–8, 2012)? If so, please get in touch with the steering committee for the Society for Austrian and Habsburg History.
One of the purposes of the SAHH is to further the study of Austrian history and the history of the Habsburg Monarchy and its successor states by facilitating and sponsoring panels at these national conferences. The steering committee serves as a line of communication among historians. If you are a scholar looking to organize a panel at the GSA or the AHA, the SAHH may be able to sponsor and help you round out the panel. February 15, 2011 is the panel submission deadline for both the GSA and the AHA.
Please contact Maureen Healy, firstname.lastname@example.org, for help with your panel or questions about SAHH sponsorship.
