Dear Colleagues,
The University of Hong Kong, Department of History, is pleased to announce its third Spring History Symposium. This symposium is being organised as an opportunity for research postgraduate students working on historical topics in all Hong Kong universities and the University of Macau to share their ideas and learn from fellow postgraduates. Most presentations will be arranged in panels of three papers and each paper will be a maximum of twenty minutes in length, followed by a brief question and answer period. The symposium will be conducted in English. All those who are interested in presenting a paper should please submit the reply slip including the paper title and a 200-word abstract to Laura Verner (h0991011@hku.hk), Henry Choi (henrycsh@hkusuc.hku.hk) or Angharad Fletcher (h0991033@hku.hk) by 31st March 2011. All history research postgraduates at Hong Kong universities and the University of Macau are welcome. No charge. Food and beverages will be served.
Unfortunately, as this is a Postgraduate Conference, we are unable to cover travel costs.
