Bringing Lefebvre Sociology Back In Urban Studies
G.E. Lelandais, Center for Research in Ethnic Relations, UNIVERSITY OF WARWICK, Coventry,United Kingdom
Description of the Research Stream:
We would like particularly to discuss about the junctions of Lefebvre sociology from some case studies of Southern countries. Critical contributions on Lefebvre are also welcome in order to enrich debate. Our main question will be the following: How and by which tools the sociology of Henri Lefebvre around the concept of “Right to the city” could permit us to understand or not the recent evolutions in the composition of urban space with its interactions and conflicts.
Please see more details on the website. You can propose a paper or be the discussant of a session.
