The International Brecht Society sponsors a collaborative session with the MLA Drama Division at the Modern Language Association Conference in Seattle (Jan. 5-8, 2012) on: "Brecht Reading / Reading Brecht":
Brecht as critical reader and adapter in print and performance of texts from antiquity to the modern period, from Europe and Asia. These include Horace and Lukullus, Shakespeare and Marlowe, Farquhar and J.M.R. Lenz, as well as Chinese philosophy and Noh plays. Send abstracts of 200 words by March 16 to:
