I propose a panel for the 2012 AHA in Chicago that addresses communities of lawyers and/or judges/courts and their effects on American law and legal institutions in the 20th century. My presentation will concern the collaborations between legal academics, judges, and lawyers in efforts to change American tort law in the 20th century. I encourage interdisciplinary submissions, as well. Please submit a 300 word abstract and CV by Feb. 2, 2011. Please make inquiries to idrake27302@yahoo.com.
