The Jefferson Scholars Foundation requests submissions of manuscripts for consideration in the 2nd issue of our peer-reviewed academic journal, the Jefferson Journal of Science and Culture. The journal is a twice-annual publication intended to present high-quality manuscripts on interdisciplinary topics. Each journal has a broad topical theme. The theme for the 2nd issues is Births and Origins.
We invite scholars in all fields to submit papers regarding the birth and creation of ideas, constructs, organisms, phenomena, or any other topic relevant to your discipline. Theoretical as well as empirical manuscripts are welcome.
Some topics may include (but are not limited to):
• birth of a specific cultural practice
• background and origin of a specific term or element of your field
• etiology of a specific pathological or physiological process
• early histories of a paradigm or society
Please read the submission guidelines on our website and email your manuscript to jeffersonjournaluva@gmail.com by Friday, March 11, 2010.
