On April 15, 2011, West Texas A&M University will sponsor the Seventeenth Annual Student Research Conference in Canyon, TX. The conference provides undergraduate and graduate students across the academic spectrum with a supportive environment in which to share their research and gain recognition for their efforts. Judging of research is based on both content and presentation and students can submit an abstract for either a submitted paper, a poster session, or submit and present a completed paper for the cash award competition. There will be up to $2000 in cash awards for presented papers. The conference will culminate with an awards reception honoring outstanding papers and posters. Participation in the conference is free and open to any undergraduate or graduate student from any college or university. More information on the conference, the submission of abstracts, poster requirements, etc. can be found at: www.wtamu.edu/studentresearch
