The peer-reviewed historical journal "On The Jewish Street/Na Evreiskoi Ulitse" is accepting submissions for forthcoming issues. The journal is published by Charles Schlacks, Jr., Publisher, and is dedicated to Jewish history in Imperial Russia and the USSR (including the non-Russian regions of the Empire/Union).
Manuscripts for consideration should be submitted as digital files in Microsoft Word, with the author’s name in the document (file) title. All submissions will be anonymously peer reviewed. To facilitate anonymous review, we ask that authors please not identify themselves in the manuscript text. Manuscripts should follow the Chicago Manual of Style. Transliterations should follow the Library of Congress system, but when appropriate, authors may leave text in its original Russian or Ukrainian form. Although the journal’s primary language is English, we also will consider publication of contributions in Russian (with accompanying English-language summaries).
