Five highly respected theorists of the Moving Image, Animation, Visuality and Cultural Studies join for a roundtable discussion exploring how early forms of moving image technology and cinema point to a wider paradigm shift in vision during the 19th century.
Dr. Pasi Valiaho, Deac Rossell, Prof. Esther Leslie & Prof. Stephen Barber will take part in this discussion; chaired by Stephen Herbert.
This Heritage Lottery Funded roundtable, part of the Muybridge in Kingston initiative, will take place at Kingston University Project Space Knights Park Campus, at 7pm on Thursday 27th January.
