The National Road Bicentennial Conference will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania.
Academic historians, graduate and undergraduate students, professionals from historic sites and museums, and independent scholars are invited to submit proposals for presentations or papers focused on the National Road and antebellum transportation. Submissions should include an abstract for the paper/presentation and a CV.
The deadline for submission of proposals is March 1, 2011.
