Development, Culture and Security in Black Atlantic Communities
Central State University’s Black Atlantic Community Conference Committee invites submissions of presentation and poster abstracts related to the theme, “Development, Culture and Security in Black Atlantic Communities,” cognate topics, as well as those related to the conference mission. We encourage and welcome a diversity of relevant subjects, approaches and formats in any discipline. Each presenter is given 25 minutes, including discussion time.
The Black Atlantic Community Conference is a multi- and inter-disciplinary forum and venue for affirming strengths and exploring and resolving problems within Black communities locally, nationally and globally. 2011 marks our 7th meeting since the inaugural conference in 1999. We have hosted and continue to welcome participants from a wide spectrum of locales, disciplines, professions and
intellectual perspectives to share their knowledge and insights as well as to forge practical collaborations.
