Call for Chapter Proposals--Women and Global Affairs

Chapter proposals requested for a two part collection of essays dealing with the role of women in global affairs. Proposals for Section One can range from the challenges of women in the area of
sexual violence in war
disenfranchisement
issues of environmental injustice
And other forms of gender-based discrimination and oppression
Proposals for Section Two should highlight examples of empowered feminine participation in the global arena through
international activism
political participation
economic independence
Or, examples of artistic activism
Proposals should be 600-700 words in length and final chapter submissions are due April 29th, 2011. Please also include a curriculum vitae.
