Seeking Book Review Editor for the Children’s Folklore Review

The Children’s Folklore Review, an annual publication of the American Folklore Society's Children's Folklore section, is seeking a new Book Review Editor.
Responsibilities include:
- Keeping a record of relevant titles no older than two years from journal’s date of publication
- Sending out yearly calls for reviews
- Requesting books from publishers
- Ensuring high quality reviews for final publication, approximately 3 to 5 per year
- Communicating with the General Editor
Qualifications for a successful reviewer:
- Skillful editing using Track Changes
- Demonstrate initiative and responsibility in following up with reviewers
- Promptness and professionalism in all phases of review cycle
- Able to supply constructive criticism in a congenial and professional manner
