*Call for articles*
Because of a couple late withdrawals, new submissions will be considered for a contracted book of articles . The focus of the book is on new scholarship focused on the themes of: travel; pilgrimage; spiritual journey; experience of "the other;" relics and sacred places; monsters and phenomena while traveling; transformative encounters while traveling; economies of travel; architecture for travel/ pilgrimage; images of travel/ pilgrimage in art; gender and travel, etc., during the Middle Ages (ca. 500-1500 for the purposes of this venture). Submissions from all fields are welcome, including: Literature, History, Religion, Art History, Architecture, Geography, Late Antique Studies/ Early Modern Studies, and assorted others. DATE for submission of chapter: FEBRUARY 20, 2011 (sic). Please send initial abstract of proposed article and contact information to June-Ann Greeley at greeleyj@sacredheart.edu
