Second and Final Call: The interim editors of Pennsylvania History: A Journal of Mid-Atlantic Studies, are seeking article submissions for a 2011 special issue on the Civil War and Reconstruction in Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic region. In addition to articles specifically concentrating on Pennsylvania history, papers on issues from the broader Mid-Atlantic region are also encouraged.
Articles are to be approximately 9,000-15,000 words in length, use endnotes, and conform to the Chicago Manual of Style. Please contact the editors by email as soon as possible if you wish to submit an article and you will be sent a Pennsylvania History Style Sheet. The completed articles are due on January 31, 2011, and will be sent out for peer review. Article submissions will include a 100 word abstract, a hard-copy of the article double-spaced in triplicate, and an electronic file in Microsoft Word format.
