Off the Record: Telling Lives of People Hidden in Plain Sight

Join Elise Lemire, author of Black Walden, at the 2011 Massachusetts History Conference, to be held on Monday, June 6, 2011 at the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester. Sessions and workshops will explore programming about the lives of townspeople who are not well-represented in most local collections: slaves, free Blacks, Native Americans, unruly women and men, and recent immigrants as well as the poor, disabled, and ill.
