In context of globalization, the Brazilian nation searches its economic development. To understand the process of economic competition and the hope for Human Rights, we can’t see only convergences but some hard antagonisms. How to understand the relation between development and social rights? How to be in the goal of the economic growth in accordance with sustainable values and practices in terms of social security and work well conditions?
The Prima Facie journal is published twice a year (after June and December) and welcomes papers to discuss that subject in its Corpus section. This section receives articles for a special dossier. The Prima Facie Journal calls for contributions in relation with SOCIAL RIGHTS AND DEVELOPMENT: RELATIONS AND ANTAGONISMS, until 31, March 2011. The Editor for that number will be Dr. Maria Áurea Baroni Cecato. For all submissions, please, log in to the Prima Facie system. Do not send works to individual editors.
