Educ8's next event will take place between 29 June and 1 July 2011 at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Porto, Portugal. Entitled Why Does Gender Still Matter in Education? Contributions and Challenges for Educational Research it will feature keynote contributions from:
Elisabeth de Sotelo (University of Koblenz-Landau, Germany) and Helena Costa Araújo, (University of Porto, Portugal).
The workshop is aimed at doctoral students and early career researchers interested in relationships between research and policies. The workshop structure will offer the opportunity for dialogue with leading researchers in a supportive environment and will provide an opportunity for discussing current educational priorities.
