The Queen's Rangers
|
|
The final presentation of the Washington Crossing Revolutionary War Round Table will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 from 7:30 to 9:30 PM at the David Library of the American Revolution, Washington Crossing, PA. Dr. Wroblewski will present a power point presentation and lead a round table discussion on the Queen's Rangers with particular emphasis on their operations in the Tri-State area of NJ, NY, and PA. The Queen's Rangers were considered to be one of the premier Loyalist Units during the Revolutionary War. From its inception in July 1776 until December 1780 (when they went with Benedict Arnold to campaign in Virginia), the Queen's Rangers were involved in most of the major battles and participated in numerous campaigns and skirmishes in New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
