The History Graduate Student Organization and Department of History at Texas Tech University would like to announce the Humanities Graduate Student Conference to be held on April 1 and 2, 2011.
We invite submissions from across eras and thematic fields. Particularly encouraged is new work being done on: peace and conflict, borderlands, memory studies, military history, gender issues, nation and empire, propaganda and cultural media. A prize for best paper will be awarded during the conference.
Please submit abstracts (250 words) along with a brief Curriculum Vitae by the submission deadline of February 15, 2011. Proposals should be sent to: 2011ttuhgso@gmail.com
