We are seeking a panelist to join our proposed SHAFR panel on U.S.-Vietnam policy during the 1960's. One paper addresses the public relations tools used by the Kennedy and Johnson administrations to advance their Vietnam policies; the other focuses on the role of Vietnam in the recognition policies toward the PRC during the Kennedy and Johnson years.
We seek an additional panelist to present a paper on a similar topic. We are also seeking a scholar to serve as chair/commentator on this panel dealing with the U.S.-Vietnam relationship during the 1960's.
