Dear colleagues,
On December 1 and 2, the Centre of East and South-East Asian Studies at Lund University is hosting a workshop focussing on the role of ideology, authoritative narratives and discourses in the government of Chinese society. The aim of this workshop is to arrive at a more systematic understanding of how such authoritative narratives are formed, what they contain, how and where they are dispersed, how such discursive power transforms the identities of those at whom these narratives are targeted, and how they are resisted.
You'll find a programme of the workshop on our institute's home page (www.ace.lu.se). If you wish to attend you can register with me, and don't hesitate to forward the information to anyone who might be interested.
With best wishes,
Christian
