The PEACE CORPS AND AFRICA Conference welcomes Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, scholars, artists, and activists to apply to present at the Peace Corps and Africa conference. We are especially interested in hearing from former volunteers, writers and poets, performance artists, and filmmakers who have African perspectives on the Peace Corps or who have maintained or reestablished ties with the countries where they served.
The PEACE CORPS AND AFRICA Conference is an event of the University of Wisconsin-Madison African Studies Program to honor fifty years of volunteer service and to assess the impact of the Peace Corps in Africa and beyond.
