The Committee of the Fifth International Graduate Legal Research Conference (IGLRC) invites graduate students undertaking legal research to propose abstracts of papers for consideration for the Conference.
The Conference will take place over two days at King’s College London in the heart of London’s legal quarter. The aim of the Conference is to give graduate students in law from across Europe and the world the opportunity to present papers reflecting excellence in legal research. It will provide a forum for debate, the exchange of ideas, and the furtherance of knowledge.
The topics to be covered by the Conference include, but are not limited to (submissions in other areas of law are also encouraged):
Law of the European Union
Commercial & Contract Law
Criminology & Criminal Justice
Competition Law
Legal Theory
Human Rights
WTO & International Trade Law
Public International Law
Intellectual Property
Constitutional Law
The closing date for receipt of abstracts is Thursday, 16 December 2010.
Successful applicants will be informed by Tuesday, 1 February 2011. The authors of abstracts selected for presentation will be expected to submit completed papers (with a maximum length of 6,000 words) by Tuesday, 15 March 2011. The Committee will endeavour to secure publication of the best papers presented at the Conference.
