An international conference on Eccentricity will take place at the Université de Bourgogne (Dijon, France) on 5-6 November 2010. It will gather specialists of English literature, history, science, art and word & image studies from the 15th century to the present day. It will provide an overview of the critical history and conceptualise the notion of eccentricity.
