The aim of the proposed seminar on Human Rights Jurisprudence in Indian Constitution is to encourage inter-disciplinary, cross-cultural discussions on the issues surrounding the field of Human Rights and to promote greater understanding. The seminar to be organized seeks to include the theme papers particularly in light of the development of rights jurisprudence in the Indian Constitution particularly the expansion of the right to life under Article 21. Towards the outcome of the proposed Seminars/conferences the effort will be on to examine contemporary human rights issues from across the world and the effects of recent global transformations in strengthening the discourse on human rights jurisprudence in India in particular.

*The selected papers will be published in the proceedings of the seminar.
The **College will not pay the travel expenses of the participants. They
will have to claim such expenses from their parent institutions.
