We are seeking papers that examine the idea of memory in a Transatlantic context and particularly on how the Atlantic is remembered and memorialized through public memorials (cemeteries, visual artworks, sculpture, and monuments). The papers will be delivered at the 2011 Transatlantic Studies Conference in Dundee, Scotland and are will be considered in an expected publication after the conference.
