The conference will discuss the parallel worlds of the seafarer. There will be three main sessions:
Session 1: Life and work afloat
Session 2: Life and work ashore
Session 3: The seafarer's urban world
Each session contains three papers.
There will also be two keynote speakers and a session with six poster presentations by phd students.
