International conference "The Russian Culture within World War I and Revolution" will be organized by European university in St.-Petersburg, the St.-Petersburg Institute of history, Russian Academy of sciences and the international project "Russia's Great War and Revolution". The conference will be devoted to studying of Russia's people cultures during the critical period of history, and also cultural memory of World War I, revolution and Civil war.
The main audiences for this conference will be professional historians and researchers.
The conference organizers are asking for abstracts (no more than 3 thousands of characters).
Deadline: December, 25, 2010.
Work language: Russian.
Conference dates: the beginning of June 2011, approximately 11 and 12 June.
Venue: European University at St. Petersburg.
