H-Net Announcement Educating Children about War: Call for Papers SHCY Conference, 2011

I am hoping to chair a panel at the SHCY 2011 conference on how children have been educated about war. The focus is on visual media and material culture. Papers could consider picture books, toys, art works created by or for children, games, plays, cartoons, war movies for young people, etc. If you are interested please send me a short proposal (four to five sentences) by November 15th.
