There is no global agreement on the concept of 'law' and when different people think or speak about 'law', they may mean quite different concepts which clash and compete with each other. The key argument is that the standard methods of legal theory or discussing jurisprudence are lacking in plurality-consciousness and cannot handle the reality of competing concepts of law. This lecture will show how we can develop a new approach to legal theorising; which must be grounded in pluralist methodology.
This lecture carries 1.5 CPD points for solicitors and barristers
