The Tubman Seminar Series is a weekly semi-formal opportunity to share research and present papers on pertinent topics concerning the African Diaspora and the Global Migrations of African Peoples. It is held at York University in Toronto, Ontario, on Tuesdays between 12:00 and 1:30. Participants are invited to come and listen to speakers with international acclaim, providing a chance to discuss topics, and be on the edge of new research and ideas. The seminar is open to interested members of the community and the academic world, and interested scholars are invited to contact the organizers if they would enjoy presenting in the upcoming winter/spring session.
