The Institute of the History of Medicine of Johns Hopkins University will hold a symposium on Saturday, October 30, 2010 in honor of Harry M. Marks, Associate Professor, Elizabeth Treide and A. McGehee Harvey Professorship in the History of Medicine. Prof. Marks was one of the founding editors of the H-Sci-Med-Tech list. Organized into four sessions, the symposium will consist of a series of conversations led by panelists around various themes in the history of 20th century medicine which have been suggested by Prof. Marks and his writings. All attendees are welcome & encouraged to participate in the discussions. Registration (email to ruggere@jhmi.edu) is required (very limited number available) by October 11th.
