As editor of website www.fivebooks.com, I recently commissioned Jonathan Rauch of Brookings to do a series of interviews with prominent conservatives and commentators on the books that best define American Conservatism.
Participants included Karl Rove, Mitch Daniels, EJ Dionne, Brink
Lindsey and six others.
The results and interviews are below:
I would be thrilled if professors could share the results with their students of history/political science/political philosophy, as I commissioned the series to deepen understanding of the Right, partly with the academic community in mind.
