This panel will investigate the role of business organizations/associations in producing, shaping, and transmitting knowledge (defined broadly as statistical knowledge, economic ideology, etc.), and the role that these groups play in shaping markets, public policy, economic culture, and the political process itself.

This is the second call for papers. The panel now has two participants and a commentator and we are looking for 1 or 2 more panelists. Submissions from a variety of time periods and geographic locations are encouraged.
