The Institute for the Public Life of Arts and Ideas invites you to an interdisciplinary conference 24-25 September on the influence of the work of Claude Lévi-Strauss

The conference will feature presentations by scholars working in the fields of anthropology, literature, music, philosophy, political science, and religious studies from universities in Canada, the US, Britain, Denmark, Germany, Portugal, Israel and Albania.

Keynote lectures by Boris Wiseman (Department of English, Germanic, and Romance Studies, University of Copenhagen), and Jean-Jacques Nattiez (Faculté de musique, Université de Montréal)
