The Northwest Affiliate of the World History Association will hold its 7th Annual Conference on Friday and Saturday, October 8-9, in Eugene, Oregon. This year the NWWHA meets in conjunction with The Oregon Council for Social Studies and we expect upwards of 200 registrants for the event. Alfred J. Andrea, President of the WHA, will be the keynote speaker. The conference theme is "Teaching World History Through Art". The term "Art" includes popular culture, electronic media, performing and visual arts. Please join us while we learn about new ways to teach and understand world history.
