The Journal of International Relations (ISSN: 2218-7391), an official publication of the Department of International Relations of the University of Dhaka, is pleased to invite submissions for its next issue (Vol. 8, No. 2, 2010) to be published at the end of December 2010. Deadline for submissions is October 20, 2010.
Manuscripts should be approximately 5,000 to 10,000 words and should be original works and must not be submitted elsewhere while under consideration by JIR. The journal also accepts book reviews, research notes and interviews which should not exceed more than 2000 words. Articles/Essays/Book Reviews will be reviewed by the editorial board and will be forwarded for peer review. Footnotes (not endnotes) should be included using the tools available in the MS Word application. Do not insert footnotes manually. An abstract of approximately 250 words should be included. Manuscripts should be submitted as electronic files (MS Word) to jirdu@yahoo.com. The Chicago Manual of Style should be strictly followed while citing the references.
