The University of Winchester Press is pleased to announce the beginning of a series on the history of veterinary medicine. This unique series will feature a range of interdisciplinary studies of veterinary history, including academics working in agricultural, economic, social and political history, anthropology, archaeology, medicine, zoology and literary or cultural studies. We welcome studies on all periods, societies and cultures which shed new light on a particular aspect of veterinary history and make a contribution to the growing scholarship in this area.
We will be happy to consider proposals or manuscripts of monographs, co-authored work or edited volumes. In addition, we welcome inquires from junior faculty and those finishing their dissertations.
More details can be found on our website and from the Series Editor, Dr Louise Curth.
