CALL FOR PAPERS
The international journal Research Papers, University in Bihac is making preparations for special issue: GLOBAL STRUCTURAL CHANGES AND NEW STRUCTURE OF POWER
New structural changes both in production and in politics call for a new relation between the rich and the poor. Changes in production and culture are leading towards a dramatic and painful isolation of the underdeveloped, marginalized and poor that are becoming weaker, louder and more aggressive from the developed and the rich that are becoming more powerful and more arrogant. This division is dramatically leading to a new global conflict whose contours are visible, between the “culture of aggressive fear” and “culture of arrogant domination” that is creating an explosive substance of a new global ideology, “ideology of abhorrence”
The development of new factors of production which is, no doubt, introducing mankind to the sphere of new imaginations and achievements, new possibilities and challenges, calls for new global economic, political and legal and moral order, which would be the most powerful dam preventing the poor, the powerless and the hungry of turning into a network of terror and violence, which nowadays presents the greatest threat to mankind coming from the global structural changes that are in progress.
A one-page, double-spaced abstract is due September 30, 2010, sent as an e-mail attachment. We will review these abstracts and invite papers by October 15, 2010. Papers will be due December 31, 2010. The issue will be released in February 2011. Selected articles should be published in book DUAL GLOBAL AGENDA, which should be published by University Press by the end 2011.
The Human Rights Conflict Prevention Centre, University in Bihac, publishes Research Papers, scientific journal with international Editorial Board, as a part of a program which developed with the aim to encouraging the professional interest of scholars, NGOs, IGOs, and practitioners in the prevention of conflict in era of globalization. The Research Papers are primarily intended for a first publication of work in progress that is latter to be published elsewhere.
Proposed articles should be sent as attachments to e-mail messages, directed initially to the editors-in-chief. They should be formatted, initially, in Microsoft XP or more recent and sent to:
