We are pleased to announce the First Annual Social Sciences and Humanities Student Conference and Workshop, sponsored by the University of New Brunswick in Saint John and Mount Allison University, to be held in Saint John, NB, February 18-19 2011. Participants will present their work in a supportive and collegial setting as well as participate in academic training workshops.
The topic and period of the papers are open. Abstracts for 10-15 minute papers are invited from undergraduate and graduate students in all fields of the social sciences and humanities. We particularly encourage undergraduate students to take advantage of this opportunity even if you have little or no experience in giving papers.
Please submit proposals to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than November 30, 2010. Abstracts (500 words) must include contact information, institutional affiliation, and primary field of study.
