The Irish Journal of Gothic and Horror Studies (ISSN 2009-0374) is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary, biannual electronic publication dedicated to the exploration of Horror and Gothic literature, film, new media and television. It was launched in October 2006 and is edited by Elizabeth McCarthy and Bernice M. Murphy, both of Trinity College Dublin.
WE are now seeking article, review and 'Lost Soul' submissions for our 9th issue. We will consider articles between 6,000-8,000 words. They should be written in endnote format (see previous articles). Reviews should be approximately 1,000 words with full publication/release/transmission dates and details of the subject discussed. Please note, we can only accept reviews of contemporary and classic horror films that have been released or revived theatrically or on DVD within the last year. Articles and reviews can be submitted for consideration to Dr. Elizabeth McCarthy and Dr. Bernice M. Murphy at irish_gothic_journal@yahoo.ie or sent to The Irish Journal of Gothic and Horror Studies C/O The School of English, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin 2, Ireland. We regret that we are unable to offer feedback on article or review submissions which have not been selected for publication
